Nampahc Cottage — Two c. 1940s to 1950s real-photo postcards (below) show the gateway and entrance to Nampahc Cottage and the front of the cottage facing the lake. The new owners, whose name was not given, said that Nampahc was owned by members of the Chapman family, Nampahc being Chapman spelled backwards. There’s also a note on the back of one postcard saying that “Hulda and Dave are going to call it [what looks like] Bardeni Gardesis.” Can anyone document the correct spelling of Nampahc’s new name?
