Handsome 1950 real-photo postcard of Main St. in Winneconne, WI. Nicely detailed and sharply focused, great clarity. Neon Gettelman beer sign is on the left side of the road, on the frame falsefront building advertising Tige's Bar and Mike & Tice. The Midway Bar and Jack's Bar are also on the left side of the road, as are a meat market and a Philco dealership. The Mid Town dairy and lunch stand were on the right side of the street, as was the Art Deco-inspired Lake Theater, which was playing "The Lawless" starring Gail Russell. A desirable Winnebago County or roadside America collectible in excellent condition.
