 For the serious Valentine's Day or Clapsaddle collector! Scarce unused, artist-signed Ellen H. Clapsaddle mechanical Valentine’s Day postcard, c. 1907-1915! In great shape with all parts intact: wheel mechanism turns to reveal four different little boys’ faces and a bow and arrow, hands holding hearts in two positions, and envelope being delivered. Sweet little girl in a red dress peers through the yellow heart where the pictures appear, with caption reading: “I’ll take a look,/Just Peek-a-boo - /I wonder will it turn to you!” A rarity published by the International Art Publishing Co. and hard-to-find, especially in this near-mint condition!
