Nicely detailed and postally unused c. 1915 to 1920s real-photo postcard of four children posing outside an English home. While the girl in the background with long hair manages a somewhat forced smile, the other children are clearly not happy to be posing for the photographer. Perhaps they knew where the card was to go and were not fond of their cousins, as the note on the reverse reads: "The children sends [sic] on their love and xxxxx to all their cousins." A humorous childhood moment captured, and a desirable British collectible in excellent condition!
