Great graphics in this postally unused c. 1907-1918 real-photo postcard of a young boy dressed as Uncle Sam! Nicely detailed and sharply focused, great clarity in this scarce image. The child's jacket forms the stars, while his pants form the stripes. An elaborate bow tie and jaunty top hat complete his ensemble, as he smiles broadly while posing against a woodpile backdrop. His name has been lost to time, although he was probably dressed for a holiday parade. It doesn't get much better than this when it comes to classic Americana! In excellent condition.
