Scarce c. 1915 Azo Tri 2 real-photo postcard of the New Curtis Hotel in Sauk City, WI. Shows a modest two-story brick hotel with large porches on the first and second floors. Formerly known as the U.S. Hotel, it was purchased and remodeled by George W. Curtis in 1915. Curtis came to Sauk City from Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin. The Curtis later became city hall and the public library. Postmarked in 1927, the image was made by Becker's photography studio of Sauk City. A desirable Sauk County collectible in excellent condition.
