Finely detailed and unused c. 1910 postcard of Cedar Point amusement park near Sandusky, OH. This aerial view shows, among other things, the historic Hotel Breakers, which opened in 1905. It had 600 rooms and was one of the largest hotels in the Midwest. The biplane probably represents the 1910 flight of renowned aviator Glenn H. Curtiss, who established a world record for flying over water when he flew 65 miles from Euclid Beach to Cedar Point. Cedar Point, known as the Roller Coaster Capital of the World, is the second oldest amusement park in North America. A desirable Erie County or amusement park collectible in excellent condition.
