Scarce postally unused, undivided back, c. 1912 advertising postcard from the F. A. Whitney Carriage Co. of Leominster, MA, celebrating 50 years of service as a carriage maker. The company was the first in the nation to make baby carriages - one with metal wheels is shown at bottom right, with two baby girls dressed in white in the center of the image. Stamped on the front is the name of a dealer, P. H. Graves & Son of 181 Moody St. (the Dill Block) in Waltham, MA. A message from the Graves company on the reverse offers a 25 percent discount off of list prices. A desirable transportation, Worcester County or Middlesex County collectible in excellent condition.
