Large figural angel Merry Christmas holiday Victorian VintagePostcards.org: Old, Antique, Vintage Postcards

Graphically striking and very Victorian, this large figural angel is one of the most detailed we've ever seen. Embossed and air brushed, she has long flowing light brown hair which flows down her back and into the folds of her elaborate gown. Highly detailed, right down to the lily-of-the-valley or snowdrop flower she's holding in her left hand. "Merry Christmas" in German (Froliche Weihnachten) is embossed in gold upon the black background. This dramatic post card was sent from Berlin in 1909. Published by the A.S. Company of Berlin, Germany, and a heavenly Yuletide collectible in very good condition.
