Great graphics in this unused c. 1960s postcard, artist-signed by Sharni of the West Baffin Eskimo Co-operative in Cape Dorset, Baffin Island, Nunavut! The top chopmark (upper left) spells out Sharni’s name in Inuk syllabics. We think the second one is for the name of the printer. The third chopmark, an igloo, is a symbol of the West Baffin Eskimo Cooperative. Highly stylized folk art birds, perhaps ptarmigans. Hard to find this Native Americana collectible, which is in excellent condition!
