Finely detailed and graphically striking c. 1915 advertising postcard, unused, for IXL brand canned chicken tamales. The Mexican food was produced at the Workman Packing Co. of San Francisco. Ad on reverse reads: "I notice at the exposition in San Francisco, as well as throughout the entire Coast, that I.X.L. Tamales are the most popular of foods - where a quick, substantial and delightful meal is desired, without the usual fuss and preparation." A desirable Mexican food or cooking collectible in excellent condition.
