Bold, rich colors in this lavishly embossed and gilded Easter postcard showing two rabbits inspecting colored Easter Eggs, within a clever, larger purple surround suggesting another Easter egg. Violets, a token of remembrance in Victorian floriography (the language of flowers) accent the image. Sent to Glenn Fravel of Cresco, Iowa in 1913 by his Aunt Kate. We hope Glenn enjoyed this extraordinary Easter or holiday collectible, which is in excellent condition, as much as we do.
