Scarce c. 1903-1907 postcard of "le presbytere" (the parsonage) in Cocagne, NB, Canada! Shows a handsome Victorian home, profusely trimmed with Victorian gingerbread decorative elements, and a large barn to the right. Interesting flag flies over the home - perhaps Catholic? Has a large white cross, similar to that on a Swiss flag, with a smaller, darker cross within, and fleur-de-lis in the four corners. Does anyone know what this flag signifies? A desirable Kent County or Canadian collectible in very good condition!
