Striking undivided-back Art Nouveau-influenced postcard advertising the 1906 Cincinnati, Ohio Fall Festival! Pretty lady in a fur-trimmed coat, a dog at her side, entitled “Sylvia Joy.” Cincinnati’s first fall festival was held at Music Hall; five such fall festivals were held by 1906, in a largely unsuccessful attempt to recapture the prestige of 19th century industrial expositions. Plates by the Thos. Coulter Co., published by the Strobridge Litho. Co. of Cincinnati, and a desirable Hamilton County or exposition collectible in very good condition!
