Great 1907 undivided-back postcard of a lady posing on a giant tree stump in a nicely detailed gazebo in downtown Chehalis, Washington! Several local businesses visible in the background. Large sign on gazebo says the "McKinley stump" was cut near Pe Ell, WA, and sign refers to President William McKinley's May 1901 reception. President Theodore Roosevelt spoke from the 360-year-old stump on May 22, 1903. A desirable Presidential or Lewis County collectible in excellent condition!
