Handsome c. 1907-1915 postcard of the four-story brick Chateau Restigouche hotel in Campbellton, New Brunswick. An early New Brunswick flag, which is maroon in color and appears to display a Union Jack, flies overhead. Interesting historical information on the reverse, with sender writing: "Stella and I went in the stores and found the prices to be high. For instance, a butter dish, exactly like I paid $1.00 for, is $2.50 here. That is some difference, isn't it? We expect to cross over to the Province of Quebec tomorrow and maybe get to Quebec the next day. Billie gave me a candy wrapper to send grandma so she would know what kind of candy we had here." A desirable Restigouche County or Canadian collectible in very good condition.
