Nicely detailed and unused c. 1903-1907 postcard of Eighth Ave. as seen from the post office in downtown Calgary, Alberta! Nicely detailed, showing a saddlery at front left and A. W. Ward's grocery store at right front across the street. A furniture store is next to the grocery, with a drug store further down the road. Card was published for Pearson's Bookshop of Calgary, by MacFarlane of Toronto. Unused, with a note on the reverse saying: "Look in the sports today. Am going to see a prize fight tonite - don't know if I will enjoy same or not." A desirable Canadian collectible in very good condition!
