Great retro advertisement on this postmarked 1964 advertising postcard for Rayette DeLite air-conditioned hair dryers.  The beauty parlor advertising makes this ordeal sound like a vacation, with text on the reverse reading:  "Would you believe that sitting under a hair dryer can be soothing, relaxing enjoyment instead of a hot, noisy ordeal?  Our new Rayette DeLite is quiet, dries with air-conditioned, filtered air that wafts as gently as a South Seas breeze.  You don't even wear ear pads, hair nets or caps.  Relax blissfully in our new Corvair dryer lounges.  And when you leave our salon, you're not drowsy from the heat - or pink with perspiration."  A desirable social history, women's history or advertising collectible in excellent condition.
