00s artist-signed CHRISTMAS holiday stocking mischievous child VintagePostcards.org: Vintage Postcards Old Antique Postcards

Sweet unused 1907-1915 unused and artist-signed postcard of a mischievous child who’s hung a Christmas stocking with a hole in the foot over a cardboard box, to get more presents from Santa Claus! Box says: “Merry Christmas, Folkses and Santa” and captioned: “I’ll fool dear old Santa,/Though he is a sly old fox;/I just cut the end off Ma’s stocking/And the toys will fill the box.”

Hand-colored and signed with an “M” in a circle and I.A.P. Co. on front and International Art on reverse. Scarce, and can’t quite place the artist’s name. A wonderful Yuletide collectible in very good condition!
