Unused and nicely detailed c. 1940s postcard of the Little White House roadside restaurant on Route 1, six miles north of Alexandria, VA, on property which was originally part of President George Washington's Mount Vernon estate. Boyd and Cleda Hartman were the owners of the inn, which had been in business for 20 yeas at the time of postcard publication. One of their modest tourist cottages is shown in the inset. A desirable roadside America or Fairfax County collectible in very good condition.
